Custom AI Actions, Upgraded: Your Cards, Your Way

Custom AI Actions now turn AI results into richer, interactive learning cards.

  • New preset actions: break down tough sentences layer by layer, improve your writing, and more.

  • Full customization: users can customize the content, design, and interactions.

  • AI-assisted setup: use Configure with AI to copy the setup prompt into your AI assistant and describe the card you want.

Select text on any webpage to run your action, and save useful results to your Notebase.

Review on Your Phone

Review sessions are now available on iPhone and Android. Open Read Frog in your mobile browser, choose a Notebase, and work through your cards with the familiar Again, Hard, Good, and Easy ratings.

For quicker access, add Read Frog to your Home Screen. The shortcut opens your Home page, so your next review session is just a tap away—no separate app download needed.

Improved

No Captions, No Problem: AI-Generated Subtitles Are Here

Some YouTube videos don’t provide subtitles, while others rely on auto-generated captions that aren’t accurate enough. This can result in incomplete translations—or make translation impossible altogether.

Now you can use Read Frog’s AI Subtitle Generation feature. It recognizes speech in a video, automatically transcribes it, and generates subtitles, so even videos without subtitles or with poor-quality captions can be translated and understood with ease. AI Subtitle Generation is available in Read Frog v1.46.0 and later.

To help everyone fully experience this feature, purchase a membership before September 14 and receive an additional 300 minutes of free video transcription.

As a thank-you to our early supporters, we’ve already launched the following features for paid Early Bird users:

  1. Built-in AI, ready to use

  2. AI-generated subtitles

Coming soon:

  1. PDF translation

  2. Manga translation

  3. E-book reading support

  4. Mobile review app

Early Bird users will continue to enjoy these features at the original Early Bird price. Read Frog will keep improving, but your membership price won’t increase—our long-term thank-you to everyone who supported us early on.

If you haven’t purchased a membership yet, now is the perfect time to join. Don’t miss the Early Bird price and the additional 300 minutes of free video transcription. You can click here to purchase a membership.
